Below are the main terms and conditions under which we offer Drumlin Villa for your holiday. These T&Cs clarify our obligations to you and your obligations to us. In the very unlikely event of any disputes, we will use this document as a basis for any resolution.
DESCRIPTIONS
The Owners take every good care to ensure the accuracy of their property descriptions. All information is given in good faith and believed correct at the time of printing. We cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions.
The advertised property with all its photographs and descriptions is not a tourist structure but a private Villa for holiday use; for this reason it doesn't have an internationally-recognized standard or category as it reflects the local culture and the owner's personal taste in the features and furnishings of the structure. Therefore, it is normal to find some small defects as we would find in our own home.
PAYMENT
We must receive your booking in writing on our booking form together with a non refundable deposit of 30% of the total accommodation cost. The balance of the rental fee is due EIGHT weeks before your arrival date. Non payment of the balance of the rent by the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract.
CANCELLATIONS
We have a no refund policy once a booking has been made and paid for. We will endeavour to facilitate a change of dates if sufficient notice is given (depending on the dates, this may involve a change in rates).
INSURANCE
You are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel/holiday insurance before departure, including cancellation cover. We cannot accept responsibility for losses or damage caused by events beyond our control, such as strikes, industrial disputes, airport or port closures, fire, flood and other natural disasters. All matters arising with regard to loss or injury should be directed to the respective insurance company. Guests are reminded to exercise care as to the personal safety of themselves and all party members. Whenever possible valuables should be left secure and out of sight. Shut and lock all windows and doors when leaving the property for any period of time, especially doors to terraces.
LIABILITY
The Owner or Owner's agents do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss from the villa, loss or damage to person(s) or personal effects however caused whilst staying in or about the rental property.
The Owner does not accept any liability for any injury however caused as a result of the use of the swimming pool. Guests, especially parents of small children, are asked to take special care around the swimming pool and not to allow children to use the swimming pool unsupervised.
OVERSEAS BOOKINGS
Payment can be made direct into our bank account as detailed on the Booking Form.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES
Lettings commence at 4.00 PM on the first day of your holiday and end at 10 AM on the day of departure.
GROUPS OF YOUNG PEOPLE
We regret we are unable to accept bookings from groups of people under the age of 25.
NUMBER IN PARTY
The party number must not exceed the maximum number stipulated when booking. Guests may be asked to leave the property if this number is exceeded.
PETS
No pets allowed under any circumstances.
RIGHT OF ENTRY
The hirer must allow owners and agents reasonable access to the property.
LOSS, DAMAGE & CARE OF PROPERTY
The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the property (reasonable wear and tear excluded), for taking good care of the property and leaving it in a clean and tidy condition. Should it be found that an excessive amount of cleaning is required a charge will be made. We therefore ask for a £200 security deposit to cover such eventualities. This is paid with the payment balance and is fully refunded, subject to satisfactory property inspection, after departure and the villa has been successfully cleaned and checked. Breakages or damage will be charged at replacement or repair cost. If the BBQ is not cleaned a charge of £30 will apply. Balance will be returned.
ELECTRICITY/HEATING
Included in the rent except where indicated otherwise. Some supplementary charges may apply in low season.
SMOKING
Strictly NO smoking inside the villa - The owner asks that you only smoke outside please, there are lovely balconies and terraces! Please depose of cigarette butts responsibly.
COMPLAINTS
Any dispute or complaint which the guest may have concerning their holiday must be immediately reported to the local key holders. If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction it should be reported immediately to the Proprietor and they will endeavor to put matter right. Complaints reported to the Proprietor after the guest have vacated the villa, and which were not reported the the key holders during the holiday, will not be considered by the Proprietor.
NON AVAILABILITY OF PROPERTY
If for any reason beyond the owners control the property is not available on the date booked, for example as a result of flooding, all rent will be refunded in full but the hirer shall have no further claim against the owners or the agent
PARTIES
Parties are not allowed under any circumstances. There is an 11.00 PM noise curfew in the area. Neighbours will call the local Police if necessary.
