Well that was a crazy last 16 months. We last visited the villa in January 2020, and of course were totally unaware of what was going to unfold with the pandemic. We know many have suffered enormously over the last months, but looking forward the future looks more positive.  The COVID vaccine roll-out seems to be gathering pace now and it appears that Portugal is ready and willing to accept visitors from Europe this summer. The UK certainly seems like it will be in a position to lift travel restrictions and add Portugal to the green list. Of course things could change, but fingers crossed we can get a sun holiday this year. Those of you thinking of travelling further afield might find the following website useful: Sherpa. They are listing the latest travel and health restrictions for different destinations.
We are fully open for bookings and looking forward to welcoming guests back to the Villa. We have some guests this summer who rescheduled from last year, but as it stands as of today, we have a couple of weeks in August that will become free and June and September are also clear at the moment. As always, use the contact form on www.DrumlinVilla.com to check what's available. We also did some improvements to the property last year, the most obvious one being the new Pergola on the patio. This will give some respite from the midday sun for those of you who prefer a little shade.
